Adobe x Bowie - Virtual Dressing Room

For Adobe x Bowie, I was the main 3D Artist at digital production company Resn working on the Virtual Dressing Room: an interactive WebGL treasure hunt set inside David Bowie's dressing room. Visitors would explore the space, discover Bowie-related objects and unlock downloadable creative assets. I prepared and optimised dozens of environment and prop assets across 3ds Max and Blender. I was in charge of modelling, asset clean-up, UVs, texture baking, texture atlases, organisation and lightweight GLB export for the web. Some Bowie-specific objects were created from scratch, while others were adapted from scans, libraries or work by additional artists. Working with a Resn colleague, I shaped the production workflow used to manage the large number of revisions and interactive assets. I further collaborated in defining requirements for tools that automated naming, grouping, atlas preparation and object metadata. The result was a richly detailed interactive room that remained lightweight enough to run smoothly in WebGL. Adobe x Bowie won an FWA award, three Awwwards, and a Merit Award from The One Show.
