REALEXIS CHRISTOFIDES

 I grew up in the heart of the old town of Nicosia, Cyprus. It's a place where history is woven into everyday life: spring evenings scented with jasmine, the swooping calls of barn swallows overhead, the ringing of church bells blending with the call to prayer from across the Green Line, and centuries-old streets that I call my home. 

 

As an adult, I’ve lived, worked and traveled across the world. First in Nottingham, UK, home of Robin Hood, for four years, before moving to Amsterdam where I kicked off my career as a 3D generalist. I spent my working hours at Random Studio with Geoffrey Lillemon, watching the company grow, and spent my off hours enjoying Amsterdam’s beauty, its frozen canals, romantic winters, and thriving bicycle culture. With Amsterdam as my base, I traveled to LA and Brooklyn for work and I have fond memories of skateboarding LA’s promenades and biking over Brooklyn bridge every morning to get to work in mid-town. 

 

I made a change when I moved to Barcelona where I worked remotely for Resn. I fell in love with Spain, especially the Pyrenees mountains that have something new to offer with every change of the season. I spent most weekends hiking and camping, watching the spectacular cliffs and waterfalls, the deep canyons, and the majestic vultures soaring above me. I find that connecting to nature and movement is crucial to keeping my work grounded and fresh.

 

I’ve also traveled to the Philippines, Guatemala, Belize, Maldives, Sri Lanka,Indonesia, and Georgia for fun.
